Ten points to remember

Lord Krishna replies to the questions asked by Arjuna.

1.       Who is Brahma?

Brahma means Bhagavanta (God) who is omnipresent.                                                 He is present everywhere.

2.      What is adyaatma (supreme spirit)?

adyaatma means those which are useful to Atma.                                                        The body, Indriyas, mind is adyaatma.

3.       What iskarma(activity)?                                                                                                 Karma means the activities of God meaning Generating, Organizing and         Destroying of the Universe.

4.      What is abhibootha?

abhibootha means the things which are helpful to body.                                             These are earth, sky, fire, wind and water.

5.      adidaiva(supreme deity) means what?

adidaiva are Brahma and Vayu.  One must understand Brahma and Vayu.

6.      Who is abhiyagna?

The one who resides in our body is abhiyagna.  That is God (Bhagavanta).

Krishna says that abhiyagna is himself.

7.      I am abhiyagna because I am responsible for all the happenings that take place in the Universe.

8.      Whom should one remember when one is bed ridden or very sick?

To this question Lord Krishna replies that He (Krishna) should be remembered.

9.      Why should you be remembered?                                                                                   Because one can attain rupa (appearance) just like me.  Otherwise you get the rupa  of whatever you imagine at the time of death.  .  For example Bharata Chakravarthy who ruled this nation was born as deer in his next birth because he had imagined a deer while dying.

10.  How should one remember Him?                                                                                 Paramathma sarvagna, existed before the start of universe, buddhi preraka, smaller than atom, protector.  It is not possible to understand Him completely.      He has different colours and hundredthousand times brighter than Sun;         He is omnipotent.  Like this God (Bhagavantha) should be remembered in this form to attain liberation when dying.
